Smirnova, T. (2025) The Phenomenon of Aestheticization of Everyday Life in Ego-DocumentsAbstract: The article examines the phenomenon of aestheticization of everyday life and how this phenomenon is designated in ego-documents. Ego-documents are personal narratives, written or verbally recorded events of an individual's life, with a certain reflection, subjective assessment of what is happening. The article examines the stages of the formation of the concept of an ego-document, considers the signs of an ego-document, its characteristic features, as well as the main topics and problems of studying ego-documents. For philosophical research, an accurate and objective presentation of events is not the main task and meaning of the existence of ego-documents, on the contrary, a subjective view, reflection, personal attitude to events is of value to the researcher. Aestheticization as an attitude to the world transforms reality, according to the views and principles of the author. The problem of aestheticization of everyday life, with the expansion of the subject field of aesthetics, becomes the subject of study of modern science. The aestheticization of the everyday in ego-documents is considered as one of the examples of the recording of subjective experience; moreover, aestheticization is understood as the transformation of reality under the influence of cultural, social and artistic processes. In the process of aestheticization, there is a value comprehension of the surrounding reality from the point of view of art, artistic style and its elements, giving unaesthetic reality an aesthetic value. To illustrate the above conclusions, the ego-documentary and artistic creativity of the poet Gennady Aygi is considered. His autobiographical narratives (notes, interviews, introductory articles to his cycles, written in a memoir style) are closely related to his poetry. Aygi's autobiographical narratives and poetry are inspired by each other; in the reflection of everyday life in ego-documents, features of his poetry are discerned. Recording events in a memoir style rather than a diary, since this recording occurs after some time, Aygi resorts to the aestheticization of everyday life in his own unique style, through his own artistic world.
Key words: ego-document, autobiography, narrative, aestheticization, memoirs, everyday life, hermeneutics, applied aesthetics, aesthetic experience, Gennady Aigi.
